GAA executives said it was a progressive step forward for the sport and that Sky’s influence would help promote our national games all over the world. The decision to sell TV rights to Sky Sports has angered many supporters and traditionalists all over the country.Donegal supporters unable to attend the match will not be able to view the All-Ireland quarter-final unless they have Sky Sports.It was the same for the Galway game last Saturday and for the Ulster SFC semi-final clash against Derry.There have been many who have praised the extensive analysis carried out by the Sky Sports punditry team which includes former Donegal manager Jim McGuinness.
