Helguson still in QPR manager’s thoughts

first_imgQPR boss Mark Hughes says Heidar Helguson is still likely to play an important role despite the big-money signings of Bobby Zamora and Djibril Cisse.Veteran forward Helguson is Rangers’ top scorer this season with nine goals but faces stiff competition for his place and is also managing on ongoing groin problem.Hughes, though, insists the Icelander is still very much part of his first-team plans.AdChoices广告He said: “Heidar’s injured at the moment so he’s not available, but when he’s fit he’ll come into the equation.
