Accordingto PDRRMO chief Dr. Jerry Bionat, provincial civil defense group personnel mustknow basic life support and first aid. “We willrevive, improve and step up our provincial guards by providing them training ondisaster response,” he said yesterday. Theymust know, too, how to move and transport patients and how to swim, Bionatadded. Forthe budget support and requirement for this provincial civil defense group, hewill be conferring with the Provincial Budget Office, Provincial AccountingOffice, General Services Office, Human Resource Management and DevelopmentOffice, and the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office(PDRRMO). Theyreceived the first ever “Scout Roy Commendation” from Defensor and PDRRMO chiefDr. Jerry Bionat.
